Choosing the right home office kit
We sell home office kit and nothing else, so this is the short version of what we have learned: which piece to buy first, and the measurements that decide whether you are happy with it.
Measure the corner before you choose the desk
This is the mistake we see most. The home office computer desk is 91.2cm wide and 49.8cm deep, which fits a corner of a room that is also something else. The L-shaped corner desk is 168cm along one side and 120cm along the other, and it wants an actual corner. Measure both walls first, not just one.
The chair matters more than the desk
A desk is a flat surface. A chair is where the working day happens. The office swivel chair has a breathable mesh back, a padded seat, flip-up arms and a 100mm gas lift. Set it so your forearms sit level with the desk before you adjust anything else.
Fix the chair you have before replacing it
If your chair is otherwise fine, the seat cushion and lumbar pillow set is the cheaper half of the job. It is high density memory foam with a washable cover. It is a comfort product, not a treatment, and we do not claim otherwise.
The under-desk range is movement, not medicine
The pedal exerciser weighs 3kg and has a tension knob for resistance; the elliptical has eight magnetic resistance levels and stands 25.4cm high. Measure your desk clearance before you choose either. We make no health claim for either of them.
Air quality is a number, not a feeling
Indoors, carbon dioxide is mostly a proxy for ventilation. The portable CO2 detector and the large-display office meter both read 400 to 5000 ppm; this store's guidance cites 800 ppm as the point to open a window. They are instruments. They report a number and do nothing about it.
